Since this was my first time ever using the debug console I did some research and found a cheat sheet of codes and the tips that they are case sensitive and need to be EXACT. It wasn't until I tried an additem command that I had any issues with not getting the expected results. So at first I didn't notice any 'problems' with the console because I was mainly just using the enabler mod (Freecam and Debug Console for 1.32 Patch) for the FreeCam and to spawn characters (such as Yennefer or Triss) to test appearance mods. The CapsLock button WILL NOT work in the console, you HAVE to use the Shift key to capitalize letters. TLDR: Codes/commands are case sensitive and have to be typed in EXACTLY as directed. (I've posted this on Nexus but I'm hoping the re-post here helps reach more people having the same problem.) replace debug console enabler.dll on "the witcher 3 wild hunt\bin\圆4\plugins" folder after you have installed debug console.For anyone having issues with the console opening BUT some commands not working, this post MIGHT help you.
tested it and console is working on 1.05. found fix for 1.05 debug console from cheatengine forums. The point is to have an all in one tool for creating mods for the game.
